-- Mesdaq-listed KZen Solutions Bhd today
signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
with Cetheus MSC Sdn Bhd to develop analytical
human resource tools. The
agreement between KZen, which specialises
in payroll and human resource solutions, and
Cetheus, a business intelligence solutions
provider, is seen as a joint effort to develop
a comprehensive suite of human resource managment
solutions. "We
see this collaboration as a breakthrough for
both companies to merge resources and experience
in ICT (information and communications technology),"
Cetheus' chief executive officer Simon Kong
Chia Huung said in a statement.
"There is a huge
potential in the business performance management
marketplace for our combined solutions in
the Asia Pacific region," he said, adding
that the market is projected to be worth RM545.68
million by 2008. "The
sourcing of a partner in business intelligence
has been a priority for us in the last few
months," KZen's chief executive officer Ng
Boon Sing said. "We
believe that with growing regional acceptance
of our software coupled with the rising trend
in analytical capabilities, we will be able
to produce best-of-breed integrated solutions
that can positively contribute to developing
human capital as a catalyst for economic growth,"
he added. The
signing was witnessed by Multimedia Development
Corporation's senior vice president Datuk
Narayanan Kanan.
